Kim Walters – Artist & Founder of Ruff Duck Designs

My name is Kim Walters, a local Victorian artist raised in the beautiful Yarra Ranges on the outskirts of Melbourne. Surrounded by the Australian bush, I developed a deep love for our native flora and fauna—an inspiration that continues to shape my creative work.

Drawing, painting, and creating have always been passions of mine, which led me to formal training and a Certificate in Fine Art. These skills, paired with a love of quirky, functional design, inspired me to launch Ruff Duck Designs.

My work blends art and nature to produce fun, practical products that bring a little joy to everyday life - perfect as unique gifts or personal treasures. Each design reflects the charm and character of Australia’s native wildlife and landscapes, with a cheeky twist.
